Campus Network

After completing the first and second generations of the campus network, the Center upgrades the system into the third generation, in which the backbone bandwidth raised to 1000MB(or 1GB), and all buildings, including the five colleges, the library, the administrative building, and the dormitory areas, are connected to the Computer Center in a “star” topology. To provide better connection quality, the Center connects the regional TANet networking center. The Center also provides 8 lines of ADSL connections to a commercial ISP, HiNet.
